Tanzania is a country with many tourist attractions. Approximately 38 percent of Tanzania's land area is set aside in protected areas for conservation. There are 16 National Parks, 29 Game reserves, 40 controlled conservation areas (including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area) and Marine parks.

Tanzania's most well known wildlife attractions are located in the northern part of the country and include the Serengeti National Parkencompases the world famous Great Migrations of animals

IKONA Wildlife Migration Area is on the direct path of the Great Migration in which more 1 million wildebeests and 200,000 Zebras migrate in search of pastures and water. The migration has increased the number of tourism in WMA. 

As Tourism contributes about 38% of the gross income apart from Agriculture and Livestock. Has partnered with investors to create Hotels and Camps for tourist.
